Artists Min The Kyung and Park Mee Kyung are both graduates of the Craft and Design Department at Cheongju University of Arts in South Korea. Currently, they are actively creating works using various materials, including metal, silver, lacquer (Ottchil), brassware, and wood.

The artists incorporate the "traces" left from hammering, spreading, and carving metals and layer them with lacquer (Ottchil) or leave them unadorned. These processes form unique "patterns" and "textures" that they engrave into their craftwork.
